~x( Many thanks to SDDC our local council and their highways dept
Sat at a junction in a que of traffic, ( about 10 cars ) along came the gritting wagon at warp factor 10 with the spreader on and a glint in his eye ,he knew exactly what he was doing
I have complained and the woman laughed ] because it was cold and we had the top down which didn't help things ~x(

By the way, no gritting here yet but last night we had rain and then it went to minus something and this morning I could not open the car.

Had to beg a lift from the boss who managed to get into his car via a rear passenger door.

My car is now in the (our) workshop for the weekend to dry out the soft top so I can put the hardtop back on Monday morning.

They are ok for minor chips but i think he will need a bonnet respray.

That looks like you will need to get the bonnet resprayed, that's really bad luck. As was said, try and get them to pay. Hope it all works out well in the end.

This is why mines been tucked away the past 4 years but its first winter of use so need to get a gritter detector

Took Zelda out tonight to get a take away curry and she got sprayed by a salt/grit spreader. Doesn't appear to have caused any damage, but will look in daylight to see better. Fingers, crossed! :ympray:
