Yes mate, much worse, in my favour was I was playing by the rules and doing half the 40mph speed limit due to the prevailing traffic.

Glad you are OK Andy with no serious injuries, the bike can be fixed or replaced. :thumbsup:

Similar thing happened to me many moons ago when I was 17 years old, a car pulled out in front of me from a side road and I T-boned him on my James (now there's a name from the past!!) trials bike. I flew over the bonnet thankfully no injuries, just a bent frame tube on the bike which was fixed by my Dad in the garage he worked at. It did shake me up though.

Not a pleasant experience for sure and not one I wish to repeat.
