I've seen that there's some on here that have fitted aluminium pedals/pedal covers but I'm unable to find out which ones people are using. I've called bmw and apparently they don't actually specifically sell them for the z3. Thanks.

Look on eBay. Search BMW Z3 alloy pedals. There's loads of different ones usually from the East!

Tony.

ps. I fitted these in my Z3 and my Z4.
If you would like pictures about up.

Pictures would be great thanks. I did look on ebay but it's always a gamble as to what the quality and fit is like.

You can usually find these on eBay. I have a set which I've never fitted!

Ordered a set from ebay that look identical to your set @t-tony, will see what they're like.
Is your car an Auto? If it is the foot rest is a little more involved and I can add more info if you need it.:)

I have the same. For the footrest in my automatic I used some plywood to increase the (tiny) step in the carpet.

I was planning on it Yeh but it seems there's more involved in it than I thought lol.
It's not too difficult but the only fly in the ointment is that you have 3 pedals, but in a Z3 the "lump" in the carpet which is the foot rest as such is just that, a "lump" in the carpet. @Sean d did his and made a cracking job.

That'd efinitely more involved than I was expecting but it would be great to have a real footrest.
