All by myself

Then this happened to the Z3 while it was parked!

On the car park front - I've always ribbed my dad after he managed to hit a wall in an empty car park.

Such a shame about the dent Shelly.

Once had someone reverse into my parked car within 24 hours of me buying it. They drove off without stopping
I'd suggest getting the dent pulled and some paint on before further problems set in if paint has been chipped off. The base layer probably remains - it is usually harder.

It's most frustrating when our pride and joy, the cars we love and cherish get damaged. They are important to us and we get annoyed and upset. In the end, they are just lumps of metal. They don't feel pain. They can be repaired. Only needs money.
Keep the upset for what really matters to us gets hurt

2 days after I bought my Z3 somerhing, from somewhere, flew up and hit the windshield. Now I have a crack from top to bottom. I'm guessing it was a stone kicked by a car or truck up ahead of me on the road. I didn't see or hear anything hit it, and didn't notice it until I was home and parked in the driveway. I feel your pain, hope it's an easy repair.

Not a good feeling is it :p
I feel your pain too , hope you can get it fixed too ;)

I feel for all you that have had ‘dings’ to your beloved zeds, but......

Many years ago I had a bloke run in to the back of my mini and it pushed me into an MG in front. It was quite a bang!!!

The owner of the MG went absolutely *********.spare at me as there was a dent and some paint scratched on the back of his pride and joy.....BUT he couldn’t give a toss about his girlfriend who had some whiplash to her neck.
My mini was written off.

That episode had a massive impact on me in the way he was more concerned about a car than his girlfriend, and I told him what an ar***ole he was......Ever since then I have always been of the opinion, while its a real pain in the a**e getting dents etc, at the end of the day its only a car and it can be repaired.
( and while there are people like @Sean d around , you would never even know there had been a problem)

I have always been happy to let anyone use my cars including the Zed, but I always say, if you have an accident, just make sure you can walk away from it.

But on the way home , a stone flicked up and dented my lovely Zs bonnet , I couldn’t believe it , it’s only a small dent , but to me it’s sticking out like a sore thumb , :(:(
Lovely looking Z @Shelly feel for you re the blasted dent. Try a dentmaster company to remove it.

There is Grumps I had a dent in my passenger door when I bought it and when I had it at the body shop that I use in Minehead having the nearside horn replaced there happened to be a dent removal specialist in doing some work on a car with various dents, got chatting to him about dents I my door. When he finished what e was working on he looked at my door and said he could do it 20/30 mins later all done and when I asked how much he said nothing, on me. Geoff
I am SO careful where I park my Z so side streets and residential roads with a walk to the destination are my norm. People don’t care = fact. They don’t care about dinging our beauties. I sometimes wonder if it is envy, tbh.

I think you are spot on their :p
I’m so careful as I’m so proud of my Z ;)
Sometimes I’ll go round the block a couple of times to make sure I get the best parking space =))

Your car is beautiful! I was so torn between getting a white one or a black one. The white with walnut interior is so classy and sophisticated. But then at the dealer I found this black in black with silver accent, and it just looked so fast. I am still longing for the white one, but happy I chose the black one. Admiring yours though!

I purchased a warranty and for another $15 a month they gave me nick and small dent coverage. I hope I never have to use it!

I love my new white Z :p
I’ve had her for 8 weeks now :)
We did have a black Z4 with cream leather interior before I got Snow White :)
Enjoy your Z ;)

Not sure how I'd have reacted to that. Would probably have asked the gf if she wanted a lift home. Might have inflamed the situation though

We got smashed into from behind earlier this year. I was driving Gail's Z4 when a young girl smacked us from behind at the lights on the M40 to the M42. We knew it was about to happen. I was livid for a couple of seconds, but, the other driver was distraught. Took a little while to calm her down and I was concerned that she was ok to drive home (both cars were drivable).

Gail wasn't too happy either. It took nearly 7 weeks and cost £8k+ to get ours repaired. The delay was beginning to get annoying.
Having written 3 cars off by other drivers though, you learn to put little prangs down to mere irritation. Any accident you walk away from is a good accident. Life goes on.

Morning Mark :p
We’re having the man round to do the dent ( even though it’s very small ) in the new year :)
Alan pointed out another dent to me on the roof, I’ll have that one done as well :)
He said the one on the roof was already their :(
Perhaps the one on the bonnet was their too , but I just didn’t notice it :)
