I got used to light mate, it was just the fact that it wasn't right, it was really getting to me, I have been called a perfectionist more then once in the pastNice one,pleased for you mate.
No more annoying light on the dash.

The mat is connected to a little black box that fits under the seat, I disconnected the mat from the box thus leaving the box connected to the car, that didn't work, so I took the box out of the equation and it worked,yayso there we have it, the mat was confusing the srs ecu
great, so anyone else with the same issue can now sort it.

Will do mate, I'll take some pics of the offending box when I get few minutes, Wish I'd known I didn't need the pad in the seat as I would have removed it when the cover was off as they can bump up and cause lumps in the seats @Mint you could do this with yours if you have the bypassBe good to do a "How to " on this for future owner problems if you have the time Sean.
