Aftermarket radiator fan

Right, then...

So, in a few weeks, I will be picking up the 2000 2.3 I’m buying from my in laws. As it has 60k miles and has been sitting dormant for a couple, three years, I’ve ordered new cooling components (all front of engine- water pump, thermostat, clutch, radiator, expansion tank, hoses*) but not the fan yet. I know that going fanless is a popular mod, but not thinking of doing that just yet. I plan to replace the fan blade with new...does anyone have any experience with the aftermarket fans that can be founds on amazon? Rather not have a questionable fan tear out all the nice new hoses I’m putting in.

* I do plan on having the plastic pipes replaced, but I’ll be having a shop do that work...don’t have the time/patience to pull off the intake.

Roughly 2 to 3x for OEM (so up to $60 USD). Starting to rethink my no fan delete decision.

So an Amazon one would be $20 approx.? I wouldn’t go that cheap to be honest but 60 is a bit much.

Just found one on FCP about 1/2 way in between. Oddly had to get there via google, searching directly on FCP didn’t do it. Problem may be between the chair and the keyboard.

I sometimes have that same problem.
Yeah, a middle of the road price is better IMHO.

I replaced mine with Meyle fan and it's been fine.
