That's good to know,did it cover ok ?I didnt put any primer on the paint I used recently - got mine from BIGGRED. Guess it depends on the type of paint you buy

I think you may have ............... Patience, Grass hopper, all will be revealed.Ooooh red oxide primer,the caliper paint I bought doesn't say owt about applying primer before painting,got me wondering if I'll have to do the same?.
Shaping up well there mate,the back plates are better in silver it's a shame they won't be seen apart from the top edge but at least they'll be in tip top condition .
So what colour you doing the calipers?......not sure if I asked that already .

I don't worry about OT Steve, as you may noticed in the Sept .11th thread! My paint says it can be applied direct to bare metal too, as did the paint I used on my Z3 but it just doesn't seem right.Much appreciated .

Only a temporary measure mate, that comes off tomorrow. I hope to get it washed at the weekend to get rid of all the red oxide and ------ spray dust and then you will see it in all it's glory.Does your spoiler fitting man use masking tape to stick spoilers on with Tony?
