After advice for rear wheel size on 1997 1.9

HI,
Just picked up a 1997 1.9 Z3, And i am trying to work out if the staggered 7.5 & 8.5 x 17" will work alright on the pre face lift narrow rear of our Z3.

Hi Don,

Mine is set up this way on a narrow pre-face lift.

The alloys fill the arches much better at the back.

Thanks, looking at wheel web sites they said it should but i thought it best to confirm.

I'm pretty confident it will Don, it is worth double checking the Offset of the front wheels especially but with 7.5j you really should be fine.

7.5J + 8.5J was also available from factory.

What you thinking wheel and tyre set up wise?

Style 108 works fine on my narrow body with 15mm spacers on rear too....

Check the offsets, more important than the width.
