Thanks for that, I did not know about the two versions.Dealership is the cheapest place. You can get them on eBay and Amazon but will pay a bit more and they are not cheap for what they are, but if you need one urgently it maybe your only option. Make sure you get the facelift one as there are two different versions.
Shaped to fit different rear wing profiles. Thanks for that, I did not know about the two versions.
That makes sense. Thanks.Shaped to fit different rear wing profiles.
Thanks for the tip. Was it easy to replace?Changed mine last year and as said cheap enough from main dealer about £15 , when I fitted mine I used some washing up liquid as a lube to aid eas of fitting into the wing and top of the radio amplifier for the aerial
Very helpful!Apparently there is a third version of an aerial grommet

Yes ....I know its spelt grommit![]()
OK. Thanks for that. When I fitted mine I removed the roof pump to one side and removed the radio amplifier to gain access to the internal grommet to remove while fitting the grommet into the wing , care needs to be taken fitting the amplifier into the grommet fitted to the wing as the plastic bulb on the amplifier where the aerial screws into is easily broken and replacement in the region of £60/80 second hand
Thanks for the tip. Will try that.I did mine over the weekend. I used a bolt the same thread as the ariel screwed into the unit, warmed the grommet in hot water then applied a small quantity of washing up liquid. Slipoed the Grommet over the bolt head, pushed down whilst pulling up on the bolt head with a small pair of pliers and it went in very easily without even going into the boot. The trickiest part was carefully removing the badly degraded old grommet with needle nose pliers without damaging the paintwork.
