Advice re: clutch noise

Probably is a case of just changing the bearing, but the labour costs involved taking it out then it's a no brainer to get the lot changed whilst it's out. It won't need doing again then.

A noisy clutch release bearing can be just that, noisy. It doesn't mean you have to replace it. It can stay noisy for years and won't get any worse, sometimes with use they can become quieter or noisier. Keep a listen out for it and try to work out if it stays the same gets louder or quieter.
If it starts to get a lot noisier then you will have to do something about it, if not it is perfectly OK to leave it alone.

This is a fair comment. A noisy release bearing can last a long time and will eventually "feel" rough through the pedal when pressed, which is a sign it is now needing replacement.
