Hi all,

I have a car listed for sale in a post in the For Sale section. So far I'm not getting a lot of interest. Can anyone advise me if the price is a bit rich or if you think with the work that's been done I should hold out? We are going to need to get something else soon and have been considering trading in but don't want to jump too soon as someone who likes the Z may appreciate the work that's been done and be willing to negotiate on price with me.

Anyone who can help, it would be appreciated.

Thank you all in advance

I paid around £2500 for my M44 a year ago. It was circa 70K miles, from a garage, with new MOT, fully loaded (aircon/heated seats/cruise control/OEM boot spoiler, wooden consul and steering wheel etc), 4 owners and all round good original condition. The dealer I bought it from had taken it in part exchange from "a wealthy couple", but I guess it cost him less than £1K!
Don't think prices have changed much in recent times, so would tend to agree with Sean (above). That said, I am really amazed that these cars are so cheap, but such is life.

IMO it is way over priced, I know you have spent a lot of money on it but in no way can you ask a current buyer to pay for it I'm afraid, it has also hit the 100k mark so that is another obstacle, sorry for being so blunt.
Take a look at this, IMO this is far more value and its only got 55k

Fair enough and thanks for your feedback. That's what I asked for and will help me get a sale. Thanks again

Thanks for your reply. Going to have a think again about the price. Cheers
