Good morning to all,

I have just finished rebuilding my Z3 and thought I would share some photos of it as its a shame to keep it hidden! Looking to make the most of using it this summer so hopefully will be at some events through the year, as well as some road trips to various places.

Car is a 2002 3.0l Sport with 67k. I have restored/rebuilt/upgraded all of the running gear underneath and address the rust to the body as it was pretty rough and will list some of what I have fitted below.

Bilstein B8 shock absorbers
Braided hoses
New front to rear brake lines
Polybushed everything
New standard callipers and discs with yellow stuff pads
New wheel bearings, steering joints bottom arms, ARB links.
Oil changed throughout
Fitted a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4, so far so good!
A parrot handsfree as I am a massive fan of original radio look, but my driving license and music also

Has been a labour of love at times but well worth it, see photos below and thanks for looking.

Truly fantastic attention to detail and a very commendable thoroughness.

Bizarre almost. Because we’re currently working through our black 2002 3.0 Sport. In fact they look like twins apart from ours has black and red interior and no hard top. It even has a Parrot!

For stage 1 we won’t be doing the same level of underbody overhaul but it will follow.

However we are doing that level on a 2.2 and flippin eck I know what it takes to get it looking like that. We picked up our first blasted/coated part, the axle beam, yesterday.

So congratulations. At 67k miles it’s a low miler too so you’ve created a great investment too.
