Accelaration not smooth

Quickie question. My 3l does not have the smooth faultless accelaration as mt 2L. It almost feels like it hiccups rather than misses. What should I check? Both the Lambda and the MAF to start I guess but can I swap from the 2L into the 3L to check or are they not compatible? Any other ideas?

Mebs cam sensor? Prev owner of mine said acceleration felt a bit limp, he changed the cam sensor and was all good afterwards

It was INPA software that flagged the cam sensor to him, so I'd advise getting a code reader on yours which might help you narrow down the problem

Cheers. It's not that it's limp it just hiccups a bit under hard accel. I've just remembered I have the INPA dics somewhere. Root them out methinks!!

Thanks m8. I'vejust fitted a new K&N induction and checked all the rubbers etc and it's still doing it! Grrrr
