Abs light back ☹️

Hi had the abs ASC light on, replaced the front right speed sensor and it cleared. 20 miles later it's back. What do you think?
is it the solder issue in the control unit?

I'll be rescanning at the weekend.

Rescan first take it from there .
If same sensor see exactly what the fault code is could be a broken abs ring
( just speculating) before you go condemning the pump .

Or broken wiring/poor connection where it connects to the loom.

Thanks both, never thought of the abs ring. The connector was a bit brittle. So will check into both of these

I had it on the wifes xc90, it was ABS rings. Because of the age of the car and it was an easy cheap job i replaced all 4

Look for green mould in the grey connector plugs.

It's unlikely to be an ABS ring. Unlike later stuff (1 Series, E90 etc) they aren't cheap bits of metal with holes in shrunk onto the hubs, but proper machined toothed rings.

Looks like it is the sensor I just fitted, the connector was a bit shonky. So will open up clean it and try again.
