I've been living a lie for the last few months and it's about time I came out of my closet. So to speak. My lovely Z3 has bitten the dust. Some very rusty dust. Could maybe have sorted it, but then it would have needed a total respray, and you all know how expensive that sort of thing can be, even at mates rates, so after around 15 years of trusty service it had to go round the back and get put to sleep. Which means that those of you with serviceable cars will find that they're worth another fiver. So here's some pretty pictures, in which you may notice the following

Small two-door BMW? Yep.

Black wheels? Yep.

Bright yellow calipers? Yep.

And now to the shocking reveal bit.

And when I say black wheels, that's not entirely true. Here's a short video to show why.

So I guess it's time to hang up my hat and bu**er off into the distance, if I had a tail it would be between my legs. Luckily I haven't.

Are you not going to replace? I had a couple of years away when I sold my Z3. Missed the car and the life it brought so bought a Z4. Happy days again....

Look on the bright side, no more swimming pool around my feet.
Not necessarily. I had an F32 coupe which leaked water into the rear wings. Gallons of it! Drains block really easily (stupid design), so the wings act like water bowsers.
My Z3 doesn't leak at all. Ever. Maybe because it never goes near rain, though! :)

Nice wheels! And the car’s not bad! 🤣
Look, Cake Man…you can’t just go and leave us without your cake exploits! Stay and pamper our sweet tooth moments - as well as your adventures in the new four wheels.

It ain't just cakes, just spent a little while making myself a delicious apple tart. Not often I get to spend a while with four Pink Ladies. And a very sharp knife. Since I'm not one of these young people that has to document everything online I didn't bother taking any pictures, but if you use a bit of imagination you could probably guess what that looks like. Maybe later, eh?;)

And the wheels look amazing in a bit of sunshine, anyone in the area could pop along to https://www.northwaleswheelworx.co.uk/ , nothing to do with me but they did the powder coating and I'm extremely pleased with the results. The car is in Kaschmirsilber, one of those colours that changes a bit with the light, and the wheels do the same. Love it.
