Write Up A Week in the Lake District

Taken on the headland just down from the lifeboat station, a grand touring roadster with all the kit and for once the old rust bucket isn't mine!!
Now back in civilisation with internet can do a photo précis of the event with @lowrider and myself:

Waiting for the vehicle ferry at Lake Windermere, unfortunately we had to give this a miss as when it arrived it was pretty clear we would ground out on the steep approach

Thanks guys, I appreciate all the pics you and all others post as I don't have much to see around here after travelling the same three roads out over thirty years! Especially like the areas you have at hand which offer such differing sites to see! PleAse keep them coming. JIM
