My wife is doing a walk up Ben Nevis to raise money for Alzimers. She's doing this in memory of a departed friend who is a Jamacan fella fantastic guy who served his adult life in our army. My wife does not know I've done this but if anyone can spare a few quid to boost my wife I would really appreciate it. My wife is at an handicap because she's not far off hobbit size so needs to take as twice as many steps as anyone else :whistle:

I'm sorry to report that Birute didn't complete the full ascent due to falling ill she was absolutely gutted to say the least. Birute has asked me to thank you all though for your kind donations towards a worthy cause. I've a funny feeling she's not finished with Ben.
