He's been and gone for another year and HT has started a side business selling the lumps of coal he got. One for each naughty for which he got caughty last year. So I think the energy crisis in Western Europe could be solved.

Merry Christmas Zed's people and good luck for the gifts under the tree!.....;)

Seems that we already got a reward for the previous 35 complete cloudy days: today we had 17 deg Celsius! (usually for this time of the year should be minus 10 deg Celsius (!?):)

Wow, Zeti, makes you wonder how we are going to be paying for such mild weather, you could almost be sunbathing in those temps!!!

Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year, Zeti

@Zeti, after the coldest winter on record for over 100 yrs. we also are having warmer temps. It drizzled for a couple of days so our hydro co shut power down in the complete SW corner of Manitoba systematically to avoid bigger problems with ice on the lines over the holidays. I can't remember that ever happening before! JIM

25 years ago we had also a very hot weather before Christmas and at the time I couldn't even think to an open world access and free traveling...
you feel the real taste of the freedom only when you had no freedom at all.
Unfortunately there are still on our planet people living under fear and terror......too many.

At the end of October over here, they put the Christmas lights up in town and for the first time, all the way down my street as well. I thought it was a bit early but I also thought that they would look good on Christmas day when my friends come round for a drink.
On the 23rd I had my windows cleaned an extra time and gave the window cleaner a bottle of whisky as a thank you as he was already on his Christmas holiday.
The lights have not been back on since Christmas eve......:meh:

Should' a slipped the electrics crew a few bottles too. I know from experience why you had to have your windows cleaned, my friend's Dutch neighbour used to accidently splash water on their windows and clean them if they hadn't been done for a couple of days. JIM

Most of us have no idea how that must have felt.

I'm sure that the freedoms you now have are fully appreciated and enjoyed. Let us hope that many more peoples throughout the world can also enjoy those freedoms. It would be such a better place if they could.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all.

:-)
