After a few days of rainfall it's a bit damp out around here.
The Fosse Dyke is well out of it's banks.

At Drinsey Nook looking towards Gainsborough,

and towards Lincoln.

Torksey Lock and the lower Tea Pots are almost floating.

On the Trent side it's over on one side.

And it's wet on our front lawn, cold too.

Nature intended flood plains to flood, not to be built on. Then people wonder why they get flooded. Effective intelligence has been lost by many. :(

I just watched the news and thought of you. Looks like you have got off pretty lightly which is a relief.

For us in the warm zone, this looks idyllic, but I guess for you it is just another wet day...
Impressive scenery inspite of that.

Saw flood warnings earlier Tony, and thought of you guys close to the Trent. Doesnt look quite as bad as the previous floods - yet.

Fingers crossed you dont get any more, or the lake next door may start to migrate.

If it freezes hard tonight, could be ' interesting ' in the morning.

At least thre pumps are working, they weren't last year and that's what caused the problems.

The A1 around Newark to Grantham was shut from Monday until late Tuesday due to flooding and various road crossing river witham were shut again. Looks as if the Trent is peaking today.

This was one of the roads into the village. some people can't obey signs.

I find it hard to feel any sympathy for people who do that Brian.
