Hi guys due to a forum member having to pull out of the Spring Scottish run there is now 1 place available for this run on April 9th and 10th.

Event - ( spring) Scottish run 2022 April 9th and 10th

Hi guys I would now like to announce the dates for the 2022 (spring) Scottish run. The run will be the usual 2 days ( sat , sun) and will be held on the 9th and 10th April 2022. Details of where we are going etc will be announced very soon as have a couple of things to check out when I'm off...

I will not contact the hotel till next weekend 26th/27th to cancel the room so if you are interested please contact me before this time.

This could possibly be of interest to one of our Northern England members as not too big a travel to South west Scotland or perhaps a Scottish member who fancies joining one of the organised cruises.

Just do both days…. Look at it this way, if you do 1 day then you’re only missing out on 1 more day… that means just 1 more day before the house is ready. Everyday is available for DIY, only 4 days this year are available for Scottish Runs, 2 of which are on this run ;)

Hi Paul if you are just wanting to join us for a section of the run that's fine with me .
Looking at where you are you could drive up to Gleentrool visitors centre and meet us there and then do the route with us until we get to the Glenluce turn on A75 you could split off there and we will carry on towards A77 coast road.

Let me know and I will get the times sorted out with you.

I cant do any of it :confused:

When I spoke to the Mrs yesterday she reminded me were down gatehouse of fleet all weekend while shes doing the rest of her forestry school training. So it's me and a toddler in a tiguan.
If you are stopping for a coffee etc in this area , gatehouse or Kirkudbright I would love to pop along

I had a drive today around the machar coastal route, it was beautiful with amazing views of wigtown and Luce bay for mile after mile. Only a small diversion from the monotony of the a75.

If you haven't been down this way for a while the road is fkd between newton stewart and glenluce, pot holes like craters. It'll also cut that 15 mile stretch out.
