Who knew, thanksHehe,
If it's any consolation it's pretty wet up here in Gloucestershire, too!
I gave up on dx chasing years ago - just found the mostly EU zoo too much hassle. So, the occasional SOTA chasing and follow of WAB now and then. Haven't been on much over the last 3 years due to XYL being rather ill. Plan to get out and check / replace aerials and feeders come the spring. QRM level, even on vhf bands, is getting worse at this QTH though.
Andy - amateur radio, sadly being killed by poorly manufactured and designed shoddy electronic goods, plus data comms devices using inappropriate/unsuitable methods of passing traffic... (Better put my soapbox away!).
Quite, I was just about to say the same...........................................................cq cq........hello from beautiful and not so sunny south wales valleys... welcome to the forum... not to much dx from my QTH YL 15 F....
