Because of this in the drivers seat......
I was looking for quite a time for a replacement and finally found a pair of tanin red seat backs on eBay but the seller said he had a buyer already
.
Just have to keep looking or worst case get a restorer to insert a panel but I imagine that would be really expensive.

No beige dye-able ones around? Perhaps now that our not-breakers can see the full horror they'll find an old seat out the back somewhere.
I would have thought a good upholsterer could replace that panel?
