Hello!
I have the chance to buy a set of styling 32 form an E39 same like I have, but ET20 8J.
I've always wanted to find a set like this to put on the rear axle using only a center ring and no spacers, still fully OEM, widening the rear stance.

The problem I am having here is that despite the ET20, which would make my rear track about 2mm wider per side, the width of the rim is only 8J versus the standard 8,5J, and this causes both the loss of the "deep dish" look the original has, and the tire doesn't sit quite as stretched as it does...

What would you suggest to do? Price is right and I could even offer the remainder of the set to another 2.8 or restyling Z'er who wants to do the same.

put them on the front and wait for a proper set of the 17 x 9 for the back

Can't put them on the front: they will stick out too much. The big potential for the restyling is that they can comfortably take a 20mm spacer at the back thanks to the widebody. I was specifically looking for a E39 set of styling 32 just for that ET20 (or even better ET13 for a rear set 9J) that allows me to use an OEM wheel, broaden the rear track without illegal spacers.

In which country are spacer illegal?
They come as standard on some Porsche models.

OP is in Belguim, but there are other countries where they are illegal. I assume that if they come as standard, that's allowed?

Hey guys thanks for all the kind replies and that gorgeous shot of @Mor61e that made me drool.
After a chat with the seller it turned out his set is 7J ET20 on all four corners...so I passed.

I will keep looking for a couple of 9J ET13 like the ones in the picture because they look like the restyling was made for them
