I find that things are getting at bit cramped at home these days, not enough room to do things so I'm thinking of flattening the whole place and starting again with a more radical design. Thought I would pass it by you guys on here for your thoughts. . . . . . . . . . .

So, what you think ??

Tony.

Hmm you're missing provisions for a bar for when h.t visits you ;).......otherwise it's perfect .

Bit of wasted room in the bathroom, I'd put a tyre changing machine in there i think, keeps the garage clear

Like the way you are thinking of the visitors and not having the Bathroom as an onsuite

The bar will be outside Steve, for obvious reasons. . . . . . . =))

Build the bedroom, kitchen and bathroom on the outside of the garage Tony, then you can put a work bench in the place they are now!!!

Is the accommodation in the roof space as not to use garage space? May be access could be obtained by a dual function 4 post lift to give ease of access to the second floor ?

I would have thought a double garage more suitable - redraw the plans and allow for state of the art work bench and storage solutions!

I was also thinking a loft @Antm72! In my shop I have the requisite beer fridge for bottles and cans (undented only of course @HT so you'll need to bring your own) along with an ice making machine for those that prefer their drinks on the rocks. Also have a draft beer system for those that drink from the tap!! And occasionally we actually fix a car or two. JIM

A shower takes up less room than a bath,,
You have been too generous with frivolous rooms, why would you not want to wake up beside the car instead of in a separate room?
Like Dan Tanna in the TV show Vegas?:thumbsup:Another good idea Pete, I can see this thing taking off, just need to get Shirl on board.

I like beer on tap, cos if you're feeling lazy you can just lie down and turn the tap on

Tony.

Why not do away with the kitchen and get takeaways :p
Go to the neighbours to use the loo ;)
And sleep in the car ;)

Don't give him any more ideas, @Shelly. I suppose you have run this past Shirley, Tony ???? ;)
