I agree there are always going to be situations like that no matter what the age limit is. But it's a small percentage of people that would do that. They would have time to do things they've wanted to do like travel, buy a motor home, visit friends and family and see their grandchildren living fulfilling lives as they could now marry and raise a family which they can't do without a job. It's not a perfect plan by any means but it doesn't FORCEpeople who have paid their dues to work two more years. My union has a mandatory retirement age with an option of going on early retirement after so many years of completed service. JIMThe place I work at has quite a few people collecting there pensions and working full time, they can't be made to leave as this is agism, and they would be the last to be made redundant as the payoff is the largest.
