A new addition to the fold

I have been debating whether to go for a Z3 3.0 or a Z4 E89 having tried both at this years Lakes and Peaks drive thanks to @Mint and @Nodzed . I finally made a decision and while I was looking for a 3.0 E89 I saw a stunning 23i on the Z4 forum so went to see it. It was more than I expected so it's now parked on my drive .

The dark blue and cream combo looks really good and the car is in excellent condition. I popped down to the Zedshed West and Niall played around with the settings on Carly so I have a couple of extra features now that I didn't know were available.

My only dilemma now is what to do with the Z3 as I would really like to keep them both but that may not be possible. In my view it's a much better looking car but the Z4 will be going to Europe and hopefully up to Scotland.

Thank you. I was looking for a red and cream but didn't have the patience to wait . It looks better in the flesh so the right decision

That's my favourite colour combination on the E89. The light seats , but black carpet with blue body look superb.

A very different car to the Z3 and both have their plus points but the Z4 is more of a cruiser and a lot more comfortable. I must be getting old when comfort is more important

I had the same predicament when i got the Z4. Initially it was the Z3 that was staying but with strong input from SWMBO it was the Z3 thet went. 2 different cars but as a long term keeper glad i went with the Z4.

Strong input, I like that. I'll be taking the Z3 out for a drive at some point just to remind myself how much fun they are but I don't use it much now so keeping it doesn't make sense

Not a massive fan of the Z4 but that does look very nice. Not quite so as the Z3.... horses for courses. Whatever you decide will be right for you.
