All good, confirmed the miles and turns etc. Found a better photo stop too. 1hr 40mins inc. a 10 minute photo stop.

Tony.

What's this tyre app?
It's a free download and allows you to construct a route of you're own, which you then upload to your satnav.
Takes a bit of time to do but then it saves you from map reading whilst on the go, meaning you can just enjoy the drive on roads of your choosing :).

Shirl is hoping to type up the route tomorrow and then I'll post it on the PM Steve.

...but maybe that's down to who ever plotted the route and way points
I'd agree Steve, the best way to cure that problem is to put in plenty of way points. The more there are the less chance that Tom will link up two way points differently to TYRE.
Good to see it (mostly) worked...AND you were in our neck of the woods. Good job you didn't call in ....we were on holiday:whistle:

Thanks mate,I reviewed how I plotted the route in tyre and I had enough way points but I hadn't zoomed in enough to notice exactly where some of them were.

On closer inspection I could see some of the points had landed slightly off the intended route, lesson learned .

Ha, yes I've have that problem. It's worse when the way point is on the other side of the motorway:(:(

So easy done .

I've loaded the Belvoir cruise on to the tom as well now. Done it so there are 3 stages to allow for comfort stops as well.
Stage 1 : Home to Belvoir castle.
Stage 2: Belvoir to Market Harborough (Mc D's).
Stage 3: Mkt Harborough to Rutland Water.

Haven't trial run it yet though,so an excuse for a drive one weekend :).
