A lot of *23*** plates on this forum

I bought my z3 around 15 years ago. Reg is T23***

Thought maybe the 3 letters might have been first owner's initials. But never occurred to me that the 23 meant anything.

Now looking at pictures on the forum I see a few with *23 ...

Maybe i need more (less?) pills but, seriously, after 15+ years I just noticed that if you squint (a lot) that 23 might look a bit like Z3. Maybe a novelty font would make it more obvious.

Is that the reason some forum members have *23 plates? If that's it then that one with M23 would be the dog's doodahs.

I'd be delighted to have that on my main car. The Z3s don't get used enough in comparison to show it off

Actually I don't mind personal plates. Don't like them as much as I used to but they do occasionally raise a smile when I see a funny one.

Maybe there should be an off topic thread for spotted "funny" personal plates.

I've seen a few '23' on plates, but even though I have a Z3, when I look, I always see it as '23'
must be the white/gold, black/blue dress syndrome.

My current number was on Dvla website for £250 on the car I thought it suited it better P 23 DAK z3 Dakar
