We've been running for nearly 3 weeks now, so I just wanted to make a couple of observations to ensure harmony flourishes here. Some of these are feedback from members over the last week, as well as some generic forum guidelines.
1> Using the Quote button. It's a useful feature to quote someone when you respond, but to many quotes quoted can make the thread a little difficult to read.
2> Misinterpreting posts & smilies. Smilies are here to assist against miscommunication, but sometimes people will still not get exactly what you are saying. The typed word is often misinterpreted, so please be mindful of what you type.
3> Signatures. Please try not to use images that are too dominant on screen. For example, my logo is 120pixels high which is a reasonable size. Ideally not much bigger than 200pixels high would be appreciated.
4> Comments on "Progress Threads". These are a great personal record of your cars progress - that's why I created mine. They also provide a great opportunity for discussion both positive and negative. Along with comment 2 above, please respect the creator's thread and keep responses on topic. It's their pride and joy after all.
