The cars been in the garage a few months and managed to pull it out today.
@Paul Rice came over this morning to help pull a few dents out of the runabout with some good success, and as i pulled the zed out its was covered in dust and looking rather sad.
Gave it a full clean and as the hardtops been hung in the garage roof i thought i try out the winch i fitted to put it there and get the top back on.
All went well and it worked a treat for one man operation so was pleased.
Love the look of the z3 with the lid fitted creates a whole new set of body lines that compliment it well.

Nice to find time to get it out the garage , been so busy all year its hardly been used at alk but fired first click of the key an purred nicely.

The zeds good till May i think mate but i will need to get the TD4 tested but needs the rear brakes handbrake sorting when i get time .

The zed is looking mighty fine mate, love the look with the h.t fitted. Hope you get time to enjoy it more.
 
Enjoyed the day Ant, needed to practice with the dent puller so confident to put it on the Zed now
The Freelander is a great buy for a daily and the Z3 still a stunner.

They where just from everyday use over its life, nothing major infact Paul commented i was fussy=))=))
Did a swap for a focus estate on it that i acquired for nothing, its a striaght car running the 2.0 Bmw Diesel Engine, runs very nicely to be honest :thumbsup:

I've got an 06 plate TD4 @Antm72, had it mapped and it's night and day mate. Great family work horse, love it.

I mentioned possibly getting it remapped to Paul as he's think on his daily for economy.
Its not overly thirsty but its compared to the zed with a lead foot so is going to be better !!
It pulls very well and is at 50 in a blink with ease and motorway speeds are no issue.
Did it give you alot more torque ? Bhp gain ?

The BHP map is circa 130bhp, can't remember the torque figure but it pulls much better across the full range than before. It was very close to the Ford Galaxy TDDi we had at the same time, prior to that it was miles off the mark by comparison.
 
Ant your zed looking first class as always :thumbsup:.
Can't tell you about a freelander but my Skoda remap and egr delete. Takes power and torque up 27 % fuel economy Quoted figure is 25% better ( due not driving it as hard ) so power in my 1.9 pd tdi goes from 131 bhp to 176bhp can't remember off the top of my head what the torque figures are but difference is substantially noticeable.
Let's put it this way now I can easily destroy any 2.0 Tdi 140 bhp vag group car with ease :)
