The crazy woman who makes my house a home would even welcome a two legged one that does washing, ironing etc. Always hinting that she needs a maid. Pulls back quick when I show her pictures of lovely little au pairs with european accents and big mits. But my chookie is OK, she's 20 years younger than I am, a full tilt boogie nurse and vows NEVER to chuck me into an old folks home. She's a keeper.
