A few recent snaps!

The earlier photo was a crispy lamb and lettuce version of Chinese duck pancakes, was lovely.

Then had a salmon main

Was nice, great venue - never seen so many members of staff in such a small place, all part of Jamie Oliver's ethos of employing and training young Londoners I suppose.

Not sure I'd call £19 for 2 course lunch fine dining, but was a nice day out.

Would recommend it.

Wasn't allowed to visit the shard for drinks after, strict deadline on picking up the little man!

I go to my local Chinese and get a mega sized Chinese Lumpia for E 3,50

They are very good, in English, I think it is called a 'Spring Roll' .....?

Been a while since an update....

Just back from my most recent (and eventful) track day!

Ran out of skill on a damp track, chasing a Nissan 350Z in the first session, slight kiss with a tyre wall, lots of fishtailing before hand, thought I'd held it then bump!

Then I saw why I was struggling at the end of the second session

Then I cooked the brakes and had no brakes at about 80mph, gravel saved me from a very painful coming together with the barrier, in the end, very lucky to have just nudged it with the driver's side corner.

Great day out, proved why I don't track my coupe!

This was there, 2.8 Z3, spoke to the owner, nice guy.

Then the 'tutor/instructor' went out with a Pug 205 who promptly shut the door on the Z3 to dent the door, bonnet and rear wing!

I didn't have the heart to take a picture.

Did you have the heart to leave your phone number in case he needed any spare parts :angelic:

Did you offer to buy it for little money so that you could 'undress the lady'.......:shy:
Anyway, looks like a good day at the races and the damage does not look to bad but I think your rubber must have been pretty much shot before you even started?

If you are querying the red flower, I am pretty sure that it is a ceramic poppy from the recent Tower of London memorial.
Not suitable for eating, although it has been 'fried' at a very high temperature already hence the shiny glaze.
