Just fancied a spur of the moment trip to IWM Duxford. Arrivals were a mass of DC3 / C47's commemorating D-Day 75 years ago. Approx 14 were already there with around another 10 on their way, mostly from the States via Newfoundland, Iceland and Prestwick. Got chatting with one of the crew and the X3 marked one was apparently the leader of the fleet that came for D-Day and was found lanquishing on a scrap yard 3 years ago! Some snaps of the day:
