A day in Grumps shed.

Well done Grumps:thumbsup:, you're not grumpy at all:whistle:

Yeah I noticed I put grumpy afterwards
Obviously not grumpy today!! Sorry grumps.

Looks mighty fine to me with that shine! Mate of mine once used Blue Tac instead of a clay bar! Much cheaper he told me and does the same thing! :nailbiting: Has anyone else heard of this?

Let you into a little secret,,,,,;)
He did not do it, he got some of his Polak car wash mates in for 5 Quid......

Bugger off, he would never have spent 5 quid.=))

Tony.

Ok all done. He's one happy boy. The results are great considering I don't have a machine, just good old fashioned hand polishing. The car is pretty bad on most panels especially the bonnet. I'm not a detailer just enjoy valeting a car.
So we clay barred first, sorry (zimzimmer) followed by autoglym dark colours, auto glym high gloss and a coat of wax to seal it. After polishing and protecting the alloys we swapped them over. The wheels make a huge difference going from a 15 to 17 inch and 6.5j to 8j. They filled right to the edge of the arches perfectly. Had a little run up the road so Roy could try it after the wheel swap and stopped for a couple of pics. I have enjoyed today and it's took Roy's mind of things for a while and he's got a much nicer looking car to boot.
