I'm not quite sure what you're saying. I do know that if the amount of gas is too low, the clutch won't engage. Once you fill it, when it hits sufficient pressure the electric clutch kicks in. There are ways to electrify the electric clutch to see if it is operating. If its not working, there is sometimes a thermal cut off switch often located on the body of the compressor that is in line with the hot wire that can go bad and must be by-passed if you're not sure it's defective. I believe there is a pressure sensor switch also. Perhaps @t-tony can shed more light on this..............Frankie
