Whats up guys. Cant seem to find concrete info on this; looking for weight of the whole AC system, hoses and all that, and the power steering weight.

Trying to lower the weight of the car off the front to balance taking weight off the back (spare tire and tools)

I hear the ac with all components is about 50lbs but ive heard maybe 100 with everything? Idk, 'tis why i ask

The power steering pump I know doesnt weigh a whole lot, maybe 10-15lbs, but the fluids for it weigh about 40 if the information I found online is right (car takes 20liters of power steering fluid? Is that right?)

Now before anyone says to keep it in, the AC is a lot farther down the line when I want to go all "because racecar" about it.
And with the power steering if lose that, 50 in the back and 100 with the seats that puts me at about 2600, which my mr2 weighed about that much, and I didnt miss it in that.

That sounds very high to me.

The lines, condenser and evaporator coils are all aluminum but do add up. Would be very surprised if the gas weighs in at 40 pounds.

And the power steering is more like one or two liters at most.

If the P/S system holds 1.5 ltr of fluid that equates (approx.) to 1.5 kilos.
