Mind you mate, on certain section of the Motorway network 30 MPH would be ambitious.

I avoid the M6 nowadays where possible. its a pain with all the roadworks

It's good once you get past Blackpool, 3 lanes and very little traffic

trouble is, where I live anywhere I want to go North involves me getting on at jcn 15 and all the way up through the roadworks,
I usually go across country and up the M1 instead, or along the A roads, depending on where I need to go.
