47.8 MPG from a 2.8!

Well, along the A1/14 40mph speed limit for the road works. She did however achieve a very nice 35.8 - 36.1 MPG at bang on 70mph over 35 miles or so. Not bad really, I thought 24mpg was the norm

My little trip computer tells me I average 33.6 in my 3litre don't know how accurate that is, and I do like to get on with it!

I HAVE managed 45 but then that is in a 1.9, though it is usually around 36- 38 as an average which begs the question why not have a bigger lump.

that's only 21p a mile, yep that is expensive looking at it that way, infact that works out more expensive than the fuel but your zed will last for ever

Try not to think about and just enjoy it I used to pay£535 Tax on a q7, sold it now thankfully

Well keeping a log on my mobile of the fuel into the 3.0. I can report that the average is 29.04 over 12,000 miles in just over a year. and she's not a daily either.. my Daily.. a VW is about 50mpg plus. but being a VW I don't believe those figures.

Me and @le frog filled up with 98ron at the same time, today on the way back from Saumer, I ended up coasting down hill for miles with the fuel light lit up, when we eventually got to a fuel station, Ben had still got half a tank full left .

Jeez I average mid twenties if I'm enjoying the sun, high teens if I'm enjoying the road, although when I take it to London on a 500mile round trip I get about 30-32mpg at 70 with cruise control.

Best I can get from a 3.0 is a tad over 30mpg according to the trip computer. Haven't done a real brim to brim check so I don't know whether it's anywhere near accurate. Mind you, when I go and play it's nearer 20....
