Met up with
@Dakar Z3 (John) on Friday on the M1 at Leicester on his way back to Sunderland. Purpose was to collect Johns Style 78's he had advertised on the forum that I had bought. Very decent of John to cart them down for me as he was passing through. They are absolutely 'spot on' and have apparently only done 3 miles since refurbishment and came shod with Michelin Pilot Sport tyres with 75% tread remaining. Tyres alone are around £100+ each new.
Reason for sale is John (who owns an immaculate 2.2 in Dakar yellow) managed to get his hands on the very last set of
new Style 78 split rims in 18 inch format, rare as wotsits or what.
As some of you know John is the UK sales manager for MEYLE automotive components and knows his stuff. MEYLE cater for a lot of parts for the Z3 and are a well known manufacturing company producing OE quality components at attractive prices.
