Has anyone got a video link or instructions how to replace a bulb in the boot brake light cluster on a facelift 2.8? I can find on pre facelift models but not later models cheers

If I remember correctly, facelift ones have a LED strip so you'll have to replace the whole unit.

I think it’s called affiliate marketing …

I have one you can have if you want it FoC ..pretty sure it works but the clips are broken. Glue some small washers on to it and you’ll be sorted

I can help with that open boot ( at work so no pics) pop the plastic caps in middle below light.
Remove the bolts and multiplug ( if accessible) the lift full unit from boot undoing multiplug if no initial access

Cheers for that - so the colour matched trim on the top comes away as well? Tharz the bit that confuses me

Yes comes out as one piece

Cant remember if you can separate the colour matching piece once its out but whole lot comes out leaving a recess and about 3 holes in boot

Ih well thats a start - seems only one unit of the LED strip has gone but as with all things Zed its annoying! I have devoured the web and cant find a single article on facelift 3rd brake lights!!!!!

Removing the bottom cover reveals the connector for the brake light..undo it but then tie some string to it before you pull the light out. You can then attach the string to the new connector and pull through.

The two round covers hide the bolts to release the light and the top coloured panel

Use a piece of string on the old light power connector and pull through to make it easier to fit a new one
