How you finding the brakes now as they bed in?
I did the 325mm upgrade a few weeks back, along with castor bushes, new tyres and suspension. I love them. Best braking power I've had in a car. Overkill for sure and alot of front bias, but awesome.
Taken a long time to reply,I know, interweb connection keeps timing out for some reason. Brakes have bedded in nicely, got a couple of hundred miles on now, passed MOT yesterday with no problems (fourth time in a row in my ownership, BMW made them too well). The new brakes may be a tad overkill, but too much is never enough. Have you noticed any more weight on the steering, some sort of gyroscopic effect, or is it just me?

Actually, yes, now that you mention it, the steering does have more weight to it but i had put that down to the castor adjustment. I guess it makes sense that the heavier disks and callipers and the fact they are mounted further from the pivot axis would have an effect too...

Castor bushes push the wheel forward improving braking stability and the fact they're polyurethane means there's no toe fluctuations under load and braided flexible brake lines help improve pedal feel.
Harder suspension keeps the car from pitching too much and the increased castor/camber provide more grip when turning.
All together tho, it's a brilliant setup.
@Aaron MacQ can you point me to the castor bushes you used and what suspension have you got fitted? Cheers

I fitted Powerflex PFF5-303. Highly recommend. OEM bushes are shocking and extra castor is no bad thing.

And the suspension was branded as Apex coilovers from EuroCarParts. ECP part number 975114201. When they arrived there was no Apex branding to be seen but I fitted anyway. Not sure if i'd recommend them as we've only done 500 miles of fairly easy driving, but I don't have anything negative to say either, and they were good value...
