The other day I reversed off of my drive, went forward to go about my business and the DSC light came on after about 100 metres. Parked up, turned off, went to shop came back and the same, off for a bit then almost straight on.
I bought a new code reader and the cable for the under bonnet and it is reporting
A3 Transversal acceleration sensor
A4 Transversal acceleration signal
67 Brake light switch
I tried to clear them but they came straight back.
I then purchased a new brake light switch bouyed by the guide on pelican parts for replacement, except it looks like you can't remove the bracket as it is a manual and the clutch is in the way! So I connected up the new brake light switch (just dangling) with the old still in place (unconnected) and went for a drive.
Same error codes, so I am guessing that the brake switch is a red herring?
As an aside the boot of the car is getting wet caused by a ripped rear window, however the carpets don't appear wet to the touch.
Any ideas where to look next? without just splashing random parts at the car?
