As per my previous post I listed the E89 on ebay this week in favour of the Z3 but having been out in it today I am now having second thought's.
Such a difficult decision - wish I could keep both but unfortunately not an option :bashhead:

Same as me, Z3 and a Z4, as much as I like the Z4 if the time comes to off load one it will be the Z4 that will have to go, couldn't let the Z3 go. As it is now I'm still happy tinkering with the Z4 as the Z3 needs nothing done to it. Got some stainless braided brake hoses to put on the 4 and add some aftermarket heated seat pads to it, should be up to my standards then.

I feel your pain but for me there's something with the handling characteristics that draws me back to the Z3 every time.

I went to the Z4 coupe then to TVR, Porsche, E36, Abarth then thought I really fancy playing in a z3 again, they're not the fastest cars around but very rewarding driven on the limit.

I am firmly in the Z4 camp now, the only thing i would say is if you sell the Z3 and regret it you wont be able to go back that easy and get another one! There are still plenty of Z4's about and will be for some time if you regret selling the E89

Exactly my thoughts - my only hesitation is the colour and spec on the E89 is exactly what I would want hence loathed to let it go. But like you say its the same with the Z3 and I honestly doubt I would ever find another with the Boston Green & black leather combo on a '99 plate with the M52TU.

Yep, I'm struggling with the same thing, love the Z3 but find the e89 more convenient and relaxing to drive. Z3 for a hoon, Z4 for everything else.

It's a dilemma for sure. Not had an E89 but they are the best looking car in their class, by a mile, in my view. Can't justify two Zeds so did this instead;
