I've noticed the viscous fan noise on a few zeds Tony, mainly when they've been replaced, which seems strange. Reminds me of the sound of the old Bedford vans.A beautiful car. I did mean to tell you on Sunday, but I forgot, lol, that when you were pulling away behind me on the run I could hear the fan roaring away. I guess that the viscous coupling has failed and is driving the fan when not needed, or the car is running hot. My money would be on the viscous coupling though.

Probably because they are actually working!I've noticed the viscous fan noise on a few zeds Tony, mainly when they've been replaced, which seems strange. Reminds me of the sound of the old Bedford vans.

When I spotted you on Sunday mate, I thought he needs a trim, but with a beard, CatweezleHad the puddin' bowl and shears job yesterday @Grumps, one looks most respectable now. You should have seen my beard two weeks ago!!
Even from a cold start. ?Probably because they are actually working!
Mine failed twice in the open position weirdly enough so no noise.
If you have an air con fan on a 2.8 it will use that too cool so if fails open you’ll never hear it - which is nice.
