This is the butter wouldn't melt one!
My wife wanted to keep the dog from sleeping on the sofa. She put a cover over it but then decided to place the brass base of a small corner table on the sofa to keep the dog off so she wouldn't have to clean off his dog hair later. This seems to work well as the dog can't climb onto the sofa with the brass table frame there. No more dog hair.
