I think football should be watch with the sound off to avoid all football pundits talking crap.

I also remember watching an England World Cup match many years ago whilst on holiday in France. I could get the match on the TV, but obviously it was French commentators. So I grabbed my portable radio and could just about get Radio 5 Live commentary.

So I sat down to watch, but soon realised that the French TV was about 5 seconds behind the commentary. It was a pain, but reasonably ok until England got a penalty. Beckham comes forward, places the ball, steps back... Just as he is about to start his short run up the voice over the radio screamed GOAL....
