Guessing it's probably a 2.2 Sport. But you need to add this to your listing ;)

At 64k miles and if it's a 2.2 Sport then the faults you list are a minor distraction. You should expect some sound offers for this.

It sounds like you have a genuine Sport to me - that's a specific level of trim/build so it's capital S too in order to distinguish it. So you are underselling it putting msport in the title as that's something a bit different. That usually means a non-Sport with some M trim bits. If you PM me the last 7 digits of the VIN I'll check that for you or go here yourself - https://www.mdecoder.com/

And probably get some more photos up. Especially of the interior to show the seats.

do you have a front end photo?
if the grille in the bumper is slats it is not a Sport, if it is a plastic black diamond mesh then it is,
Also is the centre console brushed aluminium or just plain aluminium.
Brushed is Sport.
Which means it has better and lower suspension also.

Can be swapped so I only trust bmw vin sites. Have been trying to do this for OP today but database is down.

yes you are right,
that could be the case, glad you pointed that out.

then maybe someone has gone to the trouble of changing the suspension, the centre console, the front bumper, the rear lights, the front lights, the centre brake light, the wheels and the seats,
and if so, then for all intents and purposes (and price wise) it is now a Sport even if it didn't start off as one.

It may also have been a Hellrot red 1.9 out of the factory .

Honestly. What the f*ck is up with you that you need to speak to me like that.

It’s perfectly possible a bumper gets swapped. My 3.0 Sport has a slat bumper. I put it on there for convenience when I rebuilt it and it’s due to be swapped. So is it a non-Sport?

And at the time I made the comment we knew nothing else about the appearance of the car.

Still bust for me. Are you putting your own VIN in? These sites cache old queries for a while. So it can appear they are working when they’re not.
Yes I am Rob. I've just tried again and it's telling me I've reached the daily limit.

the appearance and description of the car were all in the photo's and posts previous to your comment, but you just had to make a point,
that my reply was wrong, even as unlikely as it was. That's why.
and its not the first time.

Stop being a tool. The photos were added after the original post was made. I don’t know when. I didn’t go back and check. So I didn’t see them until just now. If you see my first post you’ll see I say I guess it’s a Sport. That was off the words only and one sideways picture. Don’t go looking for trouble that isn’t there. You sound bonkers jumping on my back.
