Hi Everyone,

After 2.5 years its time to sell the Z3.

The car is a manual 2.8 in Estoril blue and mechanically is in great condition.

I originally bought the car for a European road trip and spent £1,000 servicing the car and addressing a few bits ahead of the trip. It performed perfectly all the way to Italy and back and I’d happily take the car on the same trip tomorrow with no doubts as to it’s reliability and performance.

Current mileage is 130,000 miles.

The good bits:

It’s had four new Avon ZV7 tyres fitted earlier this year.

The headlights have been polished to give a much clearer and more modern appearance.

The car had a new exhaust and cat fitted by Tony Banks exhausts in Leeds. The exhaust was specifically requested to appear and sound like a stock exhaust which it does, it’s not a loud exhaust.

Rear axle mounts and wishbone bushes replaced with oem parts.

The car has been serviced annually.

The bad bits:

The roof is leaking slightly. Its minor and there are no rips or tears but it probably needs replacing if the car is to be kept outside. The roof mechanism is fine and opens and closes with no issues.

The boot has a leak, I believe through the 3rd brake light – should be a cheap fix with a new gasket.

The windscreen washer sprays are not working – you can hear the pumps going and I believe there is simply a hose disconnected.

There is some paint bubbling / rust spots on various panels and I am told there is some rust to the sills underneath the car.

MOT due end of January

Please let me know if you want any more information.

Can send more photos if needed.
Car is located near Halifax, West Yorkshire.

Looking for £2,500 or near offer.

Thanks,

oops - thanks for letting me know - now changed!

The fog lights were already fitted. Unfortunately the passenger side one has cracked. Due to this, I was going to swap back to a more oem style but I think these do look good.

Looks like a great buy for someone after a widebody - if I'd got the space for another Z3 I'd be coming to take look. Still think the widebody was the best looking car in the Z3 line-up. GLWTS👍
