1st time dad to an adopted 24 year old baby

Hello, my name is Ricky Greenlee. I just got my first BMW Z3 roadster. It is a 1996 with the 1.9 L four-cylinder. It is a manual. I always wanted one of these cars since it was new. I am a fledgling Z3 owner and need to learn all I can to keep this baby rolling. It only has 71,000 miles. Everything seems to work fine. It does have some whining noises in the rear end. Although I can’t see anything wrong. Just whiny.

Hi and welcome from Oxfordshire. It’s normal to get a mild diff whine when you lift off. Your bum is sitting quite near the rear axel. A fluid change of the rear diff might help.

It has “so I’ve been told“ a fresh change of Royal Purple . I thought about doing a Redline fluid with additive and see what happens
