Hello, all -
New member here. Currently own a 1999 Atlantic Blue Z3 2.3 (with the 2.5l engine ). It was garage kept by my grandfather for many years and is in great condition with just over 70,000 miles on the odometer.

Over the past year I've been doing maintenance stuff to shake off some year of neglect:
1) New spark plugs
2) New fuel filter
3) New shocks and struts
4) New polyurethane front control arm bushings
5) Seat bushings
6) rear and front shock/strut mount reinforcements to hopefully stave off mushrooming as the Z ages more
7) 50/50 mix of Redline MTL/ATF transmission fluid (original was dark green)

Some performance goodies:
1) Custom cat-back exhaust
2) H&R springs
3) 17" wheels
4) Shark tune
5) Front strut bar

I also swapped out the malfunctioning factory head unit with an aftermarket unit, as well as adding new speakers since half of the stock ones were on their last leg.

Down the road I have planned:
1) Poly subframe bushings
2) Poly rear trailing arm bushings
3) Fresh rubber diff mount bushing
4) headers

Anyways, it's a fun car to work on and I feel like I have a road map of upgrades to keep me busy for a while.;)

Yeah, he's not quite there but getting close. He'd do more damage than good at this point.

Shark tune is the Conforti "canned" tune, also called Shark Injector. Extends redline, alters ignition timing, etc. Just gives few HP/TQ.
